The Ray Train

I recently had to get a new phone from Verizon, since we can't get a good signal at our house. Sadly, my new phone doesn't have my original ring tone for Ray - a train sound. I call it the "Ray Train." Deborah was valiantly trying to find the same ring tone. This is her rendition of a whistle stop.

Of all the artists and cities in the world

Shauna framed this vintage picture of a boston she had found online and I loved the colors. We tried blowing the picture up, but since it was a small digital print, the resolution did not turn out. Shauna and I happened to be walking through the Bellevue mall one day, and we were stopped in our tracks when we found the "vintage" print in a large 18x24 size! It turns out the artist - who creates vintage-inspired dog prints -is FROM Seattle! What are the chances? Shauna had just googled "vintage prints." So now I have a large, lovely numbered print above my stove in the kitchen.
